I am not big on writing reviews but this will be an exception. I was looking for a concrete contractor for a project at our home.

I am in the construction business but in another capacity.

I have used a few different concrete contractors in the past at other homes I have owned and thought they did good work for basic concrete. Gilbert came out and gave me a quote and I had my doubts as he was pretty young and I had never seen his work. After talking to the higher power (wife) we decided to go with Golden State Concrete Construction. I liked his enthusiasm and he assured me I would be happy. I am pretty picky, wife says I'm OCD. Gilbert and his crew showed up on time and finished in the two day time frame he gave me. I was going to just add onto our existing side walk for a new patio and gilbert said no we will take out the old that didn't look the greatest and pour all new. I am so glad he did. His work was far better than any of the previous jobs others had done for me. His lines are straight and tied into a section that is getting done at a later date. Especially now that I see the new next to the old. I would highly recommend these guys for any concrete work you have. My list is getting longer and longer for projects coming up, and he will be the only one I call next time.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Golden State Concrete Construction. Gilbert and his crew were extremely professional. They met every expectation we had. They were on time with their projected schedule. Showed up exactly when they said they would arrive. The meticulous nature of Gilbert and is crew resulted in a perfect driveway and new steps leading to our front door.

Besides their amazing work, the crew was very courtesy with keeping their noise down. My family asked several times if the crew was working because they were so quiet! On top of that, they were very clean and respectful of our property and neighbor's property. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of every workday.

I highly recommend Golden State Concrete Construction. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for concrete work!

Super thankful for the great work by Golden State Concrete. Did some nice work on a new drive way and and extension of our main driveway!

I was referred by a friend who told me he does quality work so I took the chance and I'm impressed with how it all went down. From the time I called him he was always professional and on time. Gilbert came by looked at what I wanted done. I told him how I wanted it (me not knowing anything about concrete), he gave me better and safer options. Ok... I wanted a step because the concrete that was there was slightly higher than where I was adding the new concrete. He said he could do it, but this other option he gave would be safer. A slight slope down. He was right! we came to an agreement.
His crew came out on the day we agreed on dug up some dirt, put some gravel down, framed up and and was ready for pour. They weren't playing around. The day of the pour they were on time, in and out.
So do I recommend this company for you? Yes!

The gentlemen worked quickly and diligently while being very professional, answering countless questions.

I had a small pad poured in my backyard, Gilbert came out gave me an estimate and poured it the next week. Excellent service and it turned out great. If I have any more cement work done I will definitely use them. Thank You guys.

I had an amazing experience with Golden State Concrete Construction. They checked all the boxes I was looking for in a concrete company. Gilbert, the owner carried worker's compensation, insurance, was licensed and bonded. We had a small backyard patio and walkway poured. Gilbert and his crew work great together and provided fast, great quality work. Gilbert was very responsive when it came to any questions or concerns. We will be hiring his company again in the near future to have our driveway replaced

Highly recommend Golden State Concrete Construction. Amazing experience and quality work. We started by meeting with owner, Gil, and expressed our vision for the backyard space. He gave us a strategic plan on how to best tackle the job. He mapped out our Hardscape/Landscape design to best fit our needs and utilize our space. Also gave us a reasonable timeframe that exceeded our expectations. Crew was very friendly, clean and professional. Our outdoor living space is an extension of our home and we are so grateful to have a space to gather with family and friends.
